Context
I’m involved in the development of software to diagnose, image and measure aspects of the visual system. Software development includes the HMI part, the sensor and the algorithmic part. À the software part, there’s also the mechatronics part and the development of the electronic board, which also require programming, but at a very low level, e.g. firmware.
Missions
- Participate in the algorithmic part around algorithms for corneal topography reconstruction biometry and aberrometry.
- Integrate and test prototype algorithms in the software.
- Evaluate and improve algorithms.
Results
- Comparison of different nonlinear optimization algorithms.
- Integration of the algorithm for Korean reconstruction.
- Integration of the algorithm for eye depth measurement (biometry) based on optical coherence tomography.
- Improvement of the biometry algorithm by integration of the short-term Fourier transform for artifact removal.
